The Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center
The most famous Christmas tree is located in the heart of Manhattan, near the complex of skyscrapers of Rockefeller Center. Even if you've never been to New York during the holiday season, surely you know what we're talking about, because every year the media suggest there pictures. WHERE AND WHEN
The tree is located in Rockefeller Plaza. E 'positioned behind the skating rink and a bronze statue of Prometheus. Behind him stands the imposing profile of the GE building, one of the skyscrapers of New York as well as the most popular of 19 palaces that make up the Rockefeller Center.
The tradition of the famous Christmas tree dates back to the thirties and was born along with the Rockefeller Center itself, which was completed in 1933.
IDENTITY CARD '

A CHRISTMAS ECOLOGICAL
The lighting of the tree this year offers an important innovation, dedicated to ecology and energy conservation. In lieu of the traditional colored bulbs were utlilizzate 30,000 LED lights, with the same intensity, consuming on average 33% less than conventional bulbs!
